# Deleting Investigations

USM Anywhere enables you the option of deleting an investigation if is no longer needed.

**To delete an investigation**

1. Go to **Investigations**.

2. Click the title of an investigation to display its details.

3. In the row for the investigation, click the ![](https://mintcdn.com/levelblue-final/3ewB6g_LmXIUaKmn/images/usm-anywhere/trash-alt.svg?fit=max\&auto=format\&n=3ewB6g_LmXIUaKmn\&q=85\&s=bb52e19abd824deb8ffa3f002bc691d4) icon.

4. In the confirmation dialog box, click Delete.
